At The Well, we believe generosity is at the very heart of the Gospel. Jesus did not hold back at the cross—He gave everything for us. In response, we’re called to bring our first and our best to Him.

We rarely know what’s at stake when we take a step of obedience to what God is calling us to do. When Jesus promises “life to the full” in John 10:10—“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”—He isn’t talking about an abundance of stuff, but an abundance of Him. It’s about a vibrant relationship with Jesus and a life marked by following His lead.

As we launch the 10/10 Initiative, we’re inviting you to seek God about what your next season of ministry could look like. How might God use you—your time, your talents, your resources—as part of our church family to impact eternity? What would it look like for us to invest in forever, rather than simply storing up treasures here on earth? This will mean sacrificing comfort, predictability, and “life as usual” to pursue things that never fade. But this is the invitation: to live in the fullness of what God imagined for us, both as individuals and as a church.

Our hope is that every person at The Well will prayerfully consider what God is calling them to do as part of this 10:10 initiative. Our lives are full—but imagine if they were defined by the fullness God intended when He created us. Let’s wake up to all that life in Christ has to offer.

Primary Goal

100% Engagement

We invite and challenge everyone who calls The Well Church home to go on a  journey with us and learn what God might have for you as it relates to generosity. Our primary goal is for 100 percent of our people to have a life-changing encounter with God as it relates to their generosity. During this season, we will experience biblical teaching, intentional prayer, personal Bible study and shared testimonies with one another.

Church Life

The 10:10 Initiative is all about connecting with others, raising up the next generation to know Jesus, being fully present in our communities and glorifying God. We will continue to invest in local ministry at our church through our regular
annual operating budget.

Eternal Life

We are advancing Christ’s lordship for God’s glory and our good. We seek to invest in our church as we bring down the payments being made on the loans that were needed to purchase and renovate our building. We believe God has blessed us with a great property in the heart of Boulder and we want to secure it for future generations.

Abundant Life

We are on a mission to serve and defend the most vulnerable. We will be partnering with the Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force (PCI-TF). They are on the front lines defending the most vulnerable by equipping: law enforcement professionals investigating child exploitation. Together we have a deep commitment to justice and healing, this initiative empowers agencies across the U.S. through cutting-edge resources and immersive retreat experiences that provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care.

Pray
Ask God to show you how He wants you to give in this season. Ask Him to stretch your faith, your commitment, and to give you a resolve to be generous in this next season like never before.

Commit
Be one of the first to engage in this initiative and lead others to do the same. Join us at our Advance Commitment Night on November 7.

Give Generously
Act on the leadings of the Holy Spirit to give with boldness, unwavering from God’s truth as you commit. Lean into the fullness Christ offers and God’s invitation to kingdom advancement and personal discipleship growth above all else.

Influence
Encourage others in your sphere of influence to trust God with full faith in this season.
