Prayer is an essential feature of the Christian life. We are continually called in the Bible to pray consistently, both in solitude and as a community. Prayer is not solely about sharing our needs and requests with God but it is also about connecting with God and listening to his desires for us. When we pray, we strive to align our will with God's will through the Spirit. For the church to be effective and fruitful in misson, prayer must be prevelant because it is God who changes hearts, not us.
Our missional communities get together once a month to pray as a body. We pray togther to encourage one another and intercede for the community as a body. Talk with your missional community leader or check the website for the time, date and location of our prayer gatherings. Our prayer gatherings are led by the elders and last for about an hour. Childcare is provided.
Currently we gather to pray on the last Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. We'll be meeting at Calvary Bible Church in Boulder, in room 201.
